The Festival of Sydney 2024 has begun! If you’re a Sydneysider or visiting in January, the festival holds many delights. The best of international acts, from dance to cabaret to music and theatre, as well as amazing Australian artists, make January a month of performance superlatives.
This year, the Festival is centred on The Thirsty Mile, in the Arts Precinct at Walsh Bay. Piers 4/5 and 2/3 are part of the new theatre district in Sydney, and provide some great performance spaces. Add the jewel in the crown, The Sydney Opera House, just the other side of the Harbour Bridge, and you have performances with a view.
There are food and bar options to sustain the hungry or thirsty audience members too!
